Melania Trump dresses for Spring in $500 trench coat dress at White House Easter Egg Roll
Melania Trump and Donald Trump were photographed today taking part in the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, DC, USA. The First Lady opted for a smart casual look and sported a Michael Kors baby blue trench coat dress. The stylish number featured full-length sleeves and fell below her knees. It was buttoned all the way up with small gold buttons and cinched in at the waist.
It also boasted two oversized breast pockets, also fastened, and two slip pockets on the hips while the collar had pointed lapels and was done up to her collar bone.
The midi-length dress is currently retailing for $4,995 (£385) and is still available to buy.
The president’s wife went for her trademark makeup look of smokey eyes and nude lipstick.
Eschewing any accessories, Melania wore her hair down in gentle waves around her shoulders.
Melania wore nude pumps on her feet in a rare breakaway from heels, no doubt a savvy choice given the grass at the event.
A ring could be seen on her right hand as she waved at crowds from the White House Balcony, and her nails were kept nude.
A grinning Donald wore a smart dark suit with a purple and pink tie, fitting for the Easter event.
An enormous rabbit also appeared alongside the presidential couple on their balcony and waved, too.
The Easter Egg Roll is held on the White House South Lawn each Easter Monday for children aged 13 and below and their parents.
The annual tradition – which dates back to 1878 – sees little ones rolling eggs, with the help of wooden spoons, along the grass to see how far they go without breaking.
Melania was photographed holding a whistle as she and Donald oversaw the start of the race.
The First Lady joined children as they sat at colouring tables and posed for photos, putting her arm around the youngsters.
Yesterday Melania and Donald Trump attended an Easter Sunday service at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea in West Palm Beach.
In outfit highly fitting for Spring, the First Lady wore a knee-length floral dress.
The dress was sleeveless but featured a high neck and was bright with pinks, purples, yellows and blues.
A wide purple belt cinched the dress in at her waist and emphasised her slim physique and matched her purple stilettos.
The Trumps were joined by Tiffany Trump and boyfriend Michael Boulos for the service.
She teamed it with a floral black and white coat, which she chose to drape over her shoulders. Melania finished the look with a pair of vibrant orange high heels and a pair of sunglasses.
